Steemit Challenge S26-W6 : Two-timing

There is a saying in my language translated to "A man's eyes cannot see a beautiful woman without the urge to compliment the beauty". After his encounter with Tina on a bus, John's marital life is about to take a new dimension.

John had left Sydney for Canberra for a job interview. A life-changing job, promising than his present job, and meeting Tina on the bus is just like an icing on the cake for someone like him who is new to the location. John, who was on the trip for a job interview, had earlier shared with Tina the purpose of his travel.

At departures, John found his way to the hotel he booked for his temporary stay, called his wife immediately after he has freshened up to check up on how the family was faring. He settled down and was reading a magazine he brought along from Sydney when Tina crossed his mind.

John reached out to his bag to retrieve Tina's card and called her. Tina who was also on a visit had settled down in her lodge. They had lengthy chat which further adds a twist to the story of the two strangers.

Through the conversation between John and Tina, he revealed that he's applying for a position of the Senior Software Developer in a company. To the utmost surprise of Tina, she has come for a job opening for the role of the Head, Market Development at the same company.

The new friendship seems like a match, sealed from the heavens. What a coincidence! The interview is in two days so John and Tina decided to hook up the following day at Tina's lodge. The lunch was a superb one, Tina must have been a good planner. Tina revealed how amazing John's cologne was, asked for the brand and also complimented John's clean shave.

It's safe to say that Tina has just revealed some of the things that attracted her to John to dropping her card with him. The interview day came, the new friends met after to share their experiences, laughed and optimistic of getting the roles they individually applied for. The meeting this time happened at John's lodge and just when Tina was about to leave by door, they locked eyes contact and kissed while Tina quickly rushed out.

John felt loved with the kiss and at the same, felt guilty, - "Oh! I could have avoided this". John travelled back to his destination and Tina keeps contact with him. A week later, John got a mail from the company about the role, he got it! He was so happy, reached out to Tina who also shared with him that she got her role as well.

The new opportunity at a bigger company marks a milestone in John's career but his wife won't be able to go with him because she has a business booming for her in town and would he hard to vanish just like that.

The last event between John and his new friend ended with a guilt for John- "Had I known?" The real twist is going back to stay away from his family, for a longer time and constantly be in the face of what once seems to be a temptation.

Would John overcome this temptation or will he eventually play along for the fun? ... The story continues...
