Two-timing

The seat felt like heaven to John. The breathtaking views outside of the bus and the beautiful woman sitting next to him inside made it even more of a pleasant experience. The two introduced themselves and then continued talking on different topics.

Every time they talked, he felt like she was getting closer to him. At first, the ones who talked on a common topic also spoke on a personal level.

Are you married, and do you have children? she asked.

Hearing that, he didn't know what to say. He wondered if she would leave him if he told the truth. He felt like he was betraying his wife if he lied.

"Okay, let's tell the truth," he thought, and said, "Yes, I am married and have a child."

His answer was in his favor. She said, "You are being honest. If anyone else was in this situation, they would definitely have lied because their wife was in another country, and even if you were lying, I definitely wouldn't have been able to figure it out hahaha."

When she said that, John placed his palm on her hand and gently squeezed it as a sign of gratitude. The two of them felt something strange, like a love. He replied, “Just looking at you, it seems like you’re not married.”

“Of course! I don’t have a boyfriend yet hahaha.” When she said that and laughed, her smile felt like a thousand butterflies flying in his heart.

After the trip, both of them were more worried about being separated; he was more worried than her.

After she got off the bus, a car was waiting to pick her up, and she got in and disappeared.

John called his company and said that he had arrived in town and no one had picked him up. They said that a car was coming to pick him up and that it would be about an hour late. So he sat there in the waiting chair and reminisced about his bus journey.

About 20 minutes later, a man came to him with a parcel. “Sir, there was a woman traveling with you. Where is she?” he asked.

"She had gone to her place. She had been gone a few minutes back. Why are you asking?"

"Is she your close friend or relative? This is her parcel; she left it on the bus. Can you give it to her?"

Since he had her address, he felt that there was a chance that he would meet her again, so he accepted the parcel without hesitation.

“Yes, she is my friend. I will give it to her. Don’t worry. If you need any help, please write down my number.” He said and gave his number.

Still excited to meet her again, a car arrived to pick him up after a while. John showed the business card to the driver and asked him to take him to this address first.

“It’s on the border of another province; it’s a bit far; it’ll take an hour to get there,” he said.

“It’s okay, take it.” I have one of her parcels; “I need to give it to her.”

The driver started driving to the address she indicated. He sat in the car, wondering what he would say and what he should say when he met her. When the car crossed the border, the police were checking all the vehicles at the checkpoint, so there was a little traffic.

He asked the driver why there was so much traffic here.

This was a checkpoint on the provincial border. Sometimes, such checks happen here. It doesn’t always happen.

As we were talking, the car moved slowly and approached the checkpoint. A police officer came and checked their vehicle. He asked what was in the parcel. I told him it was his friend's parcel and I was going to give it to him. He said, "I need to check the parcel." "Give it to me." He took the parcel and went inside the checkpoint organ. After a while he came out.

Hey mister, get down; I'm going to arrest you.

What...? Why?? John afraid

"The parcel you brought contains the banned drug heroin, and it's worth a billion dollars," the officer replied.

Now he feels the whole drama was a trap, and he was trapped by a beauty.
