I watched that very recently with the same friend, which prompted me watching this film

Lucy in The Sky was an forgettable film. It was uncomfortable, with very unlikable characters, which I think might be a commentary on the "private lives" of astronauts. Lauded public figures, but capable of being assholes just like the next guy.
