Howdy gooddream! Tremendous review, I didn't know about this and wondered what happened to Eddie Murphy! I'll watch it when I get a chance.
did you by chance happen to see the original film? Years ago a friend of mine asked me to watch it and I didn't really enjoy it but was watching it under the wrong pretenses. I was trying to take it as a serious film and I really should have been enjoying the "badness" of it in the same way that "the Room" is legendary for being awful.
