This movie is one of those films that make you think about the nature of your own reality, kind of like the Matrix. At least it does for me! I have always been a bit suspicious that we are in some kind of simulation, but that's a longer conversation.
I loved the product placement bits in the Truman Show. They gave me a good laugh.
If you haven't seen it, you should also check out Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind starring Jim Carrey. That one and this one are my two favorite Carrey films.
Indeed. I totally agree with you, I also liked those moments when the wife promoted the products, and Truman asked who she was talking to.
LOL! That was exactly the scene that I was thinking about when I posted that comment.
