Lahti is not that small. 120,000 inhabitants. It's also only an hour away from Helsinki, the national capital. And yes, you can work from home if you're in IT.

Maybe it was all the country photography. Thought you lived outside of Lahti. I used to drive 2 hours to work every day when I worked in London so I guess it doesn't matter where you live.
I live in the suburbs.
