More Fire

UGH it’s like we’ve been sleeping in a campfire all night. The fire I reported on recently has been tamed and is considered in control now. Phew….

But there’s another fire that’s just as far away that’s even more fierce and totally out of control and GROWING!!! The smoke from that one is covering everything right now.

I had made a plan to go frolfing with two of my sons today but it looks like we will have to postpone. Their old dad doesn’t have the lungs for this.

The good news is that there’s an atmospheric river heading our way!!! It should get going later this evening. The smoke is predicted to get worse today before it gets better. The pic I included is from the day before yesterday as the first big smoke wave was coming in. Today is far worse than that.

Damn. I was really looking forward to some disc golf with my boys. 🤷‍♀️ ah well. There’s still plenty of summer left.
