It is just bread baguette-style with cheese and many different ingredients baked :) But we also sometimes use the same name to describe pasta baked with cheese (sth like mac cheese). Pierogi are god tier, but the rest is also amazing :)

More info! what's the polish name for mac and cheese? :-D
I tried to make my own pierogi in the past with caramelized onion, best thing ever according to me. I tried gofry in polish cafe here, not bad and my friend told me " basically it's just waffle".
