This part of the US is funny to me... it's two extremes, super cold in winter and super hot in summer and muggy!
I really like both SC amd NC.
Indiana was like that. Awful cold in winter. Terrible heat in summer. Still don't know why anyone lives there. NC and SC both have their awesome and awful spots. In terms of natural beauty, they're tough to beat.
