Simple, Savory and Delicious – Garlic Chicken Magic

Hello dear friends. How have you been? I hope you're having a great week so far. For me, everything is going well and even better because I just made an easy and delicious garlic chicken dish. I love garlic and most Vietnamese love garlic here in Viet Nam. So chicken and garlic, it's a really good combination. Now, I want to share the recipe with you guys.

With just simple ingredients and a simple way to make it, it will surprise you by how tasty it is. Now, if you are interested, follow me and let’s cook together!

Ingredients:

  • 300-400gr chicken breast
  • garlic
  • black pepper, salt, soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, msg
  • cooking oil

How to cook:

Step 1: Wash your chicken breast and pat it dry. Slice it into medium thick pieces, make sure not too thin, so it stays tender and juicy.

Then season it with some salt, chopped garlic, fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, msg (optional) and mix them well and set aside for marinating for around 10 minutes. Adjust to your taste the seasoning. And if you want to make the color of the chicken a bit darker you can use the dark soy sauce. I didn’t use it cause I think it’s good enough with these ingredients.

Step 2: This step is important to make your dish taste significantly special. Use the chopped garlic and use a lot if you like garlic.

Heat the pan with some cooking oil and saute the garlic

Until it is fragrant and turns to golden. Don't overcook the garlic because it will taste bitter if the garlic burns.

Then strain it to separate the crispy garlic from the oil. Keep both, we’ll use them in a minute.

Step 3: In the same pan, use the same garlic oil and pour the marinated chicken into the pan.

Stir fry until it is about 80% cooked, then add a little water for a bit of sauce so it is not too dry.

Toss in half of the fried garlic and cook for 1–2 more minutes. Sprinkle some black pepper and turn off the heat.

Now look at what we have here!

Would you eat it? I know I would and I did eat a lot hehe

The chicken is juicy, tender and so tasty and has an incredible garlicky aroma. It’s another perfect dish with white rice. I’m so happy because it has been challenging for me to find a way to make chicken breast less boring and now I’ve discovered how easy it can be.
