Yes, I live in a city, a small one in Southern California near San Bernardino. When my grandparents arrived here (1920's) there was nothing but miles of citrus groves and my uncle had a large chicken ranch. Trees are gone, smelly chickens are gone. Now it's miles of tract homes and industrial buildings. Very little open acreage left. One of our neighbors had a few chickens but someone complained and they're gone. Loud parties seem to be okay though.
