PSG and Real Madrid - Match Review
Hello everyone. I watched PSG vs Real Madrid yesterday and I want to tell you about this match.
I don't have favorite team between these two but I was very excited to watch. Both teams are very famous in Europe. PSG has many superstar players, and Real Madrid is Spanish giant team. When they play together, always something special happens.
What happened in the match
PSG was playing at home but Real Madrid also came to fight. This was FIFA Club World Cup match. The Parc des Princes was full and atmosphere was crazy.
The match had many exciting moments:
- Ruiz scored first goal in 6th minute. Early goal but very important
- Dembélé scored second goal in 9th minute. Perfect finish to keep momentum
- Ruiz scored third goal in 24th minute. Very sad to see Real Madrid struggle early
- Tchouaméni got yellow card for tripping in 28th minute. Big mistake from midfielder
- Many substitutions happened - Ramos, Lee Kang-In, Mendes all came in
Look at these numbers. PSG had 68.1% ball possession, Real Madrid had 31.9%. Also Expected Goals was 2.54 vs 0.68. Total shots were 17 vs 11. Numbers show PSG controlled ball more but Real Madrid created fewer chances.
PSG played 4-3-3 formation. You can see Ruiz, Dembélé, Barcola in attack. Real Madrid used 4-3-3 with Mbappé, Vinícius, Güler. Both coaches had different tactical ideas.
I watched until final whistle because these teams never give up easily.
My thoughts about match
Some people maybe say Real Madrid lost because they had defensive errors. But I think both teams played good football. PSG tried to keep ball but Real Madrid was more dangerous early on. That needs good tactics from both sides.
Ruiz and Dembélé were very good for PSG yesterday. Even when Real Madrid tried to fight back, PSG still dominated. But Real Madrid players - Mbappé, Vinícius, all team - they showed why they are strong competitors.
When I see how PSG pressed in first half, how they created chances even with Real Madrid pushing, how they never stopped trying... I think both teams showed good spirit. Now I understand why these matches are always exciting to watch.
What this means for football
PSG came into this match with good players. They controlled ball well and created many chances. They know how to play against big teams. But Real Madrid also showed they are very strong despite the loss.
Yes Real Madrid lost 4-0 but they faced a strong PSG side. PSG used their advantage well. Both teams still have chances in future competitions.
Maybe this defeat will make Real Madrid angry for next match. Sometimes when you lose like this, you come back stronger. When you play against a dominant team and still create some chances, it shows good character.
I have to respect both teams after watching this match. Final score was 4-0 but Real Madrid made it competitive early on. After seeing how they played, I understand why both teams are in top competitions. The next meeting will be must-watch for everyone.
