Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool: You Won't Believe This Crazy Ending!

I watched the Chelsea vs Liverpool match yesterday and I want to tell you about it. The game was at Stamford Bridge on October 4, 2025. This match was really crazy and exciting!

What happened in the match

So the game started and Chelsea scored very early! In 14th minute, Moises Caicedo hit an amazing shot from outside the box. The ball went to top corner like a rocket. I was shocked because it was such beautiful goal!

First half was mostly Chelsea controlling the game. Liverpool tried to attack but Chelsea defense was strong even though they had injury problems. There was also moment when Garnacho almost got penalty but VAR said no.

Then in second half Liverpool came back stronger. They made substitutions and Florian Wirtz came on. In 63rd minute, Cody Gakpo scored for Liverpool after nice pass from Alexander Isak. Now it was 1-1 and I thought maybe it will end as draw.

But wait! In 95th minute (stoppage time!), the most incredible thing happened. Marc Cucurella made a cross from left side and 18-year-old Estevao slid in and scored! The whole stadium went crazy. Even the manager Enzo Maresca ran on the pitch celebrating and got red card haha!

Final score was 2-1 for Chelsea.

My opinion about the game

This match was so entertaining! Both teams played good football but Chelsea wanted to win more I think. The best part was that young player Estevao scored the winner. He is only 18 years old but he played like experienced player.

Liverpool must be very sad because this was their third loss in one week. That's really bad for champions you know? Chelsea on the other hand will be so happy and confident now.

Why Chelsea won

• Caicedo scored amazing goal early in match
• They defended well even with injuries
• Young player Estevao was brave and took his chance
• They never gave up even when Liverpool equalized
• Home crowd at Stamford Bridge helped them a lot

Liverpool is good team but sometimes football is cruel. They scored equalizer but couldn't hold the result.

Final thoughts

This was one of best matches I watched recently. The drama, the late goal, the emotions - everything was perfect! Estevao will remember this goal for his whole life. Scoring winner against Liverpool at 18 years old is incredible achievement.

Now Chelsea fans are celebrating and Liverpool fans are worried about their team's form. This is why we love football - you never know what will happen until final whistle!
