Dembélé finally win the golden ball!
September 22th, 2025 at Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris - this night was special! Ousmane Dembélé from PSG get his first Ballon d'Or trophy.
I watch on TV and when they say his name, I was so happy! This French player deserve it because his season was incredible. He help PSG win everything - Champions League, Ligue 1, all trophies!
His speed and skills this year was amazing. Every match he play like magic on the field.
Young Yamal surprise everyone
The big surprise of night:
Lamine Yamal from Barcelona finish second place - he is only 18 years old! This Spanish boy have crazy talent and I think he will win Ballon d'Or soon.
He also keep his Kopa Trophy for best young player. Barcelona must be very proud of him.
Other winners from ceremony
Aitana Bonmati from Barcelona women win her third Ballon d'Or Féminin. She is incredible player and show that women football is getting stronger.
Donnarumma get Yashin Trophy for best goalkeeper. He was fantastic for PSG this season - many important saves.
What I think about results
For me, Dembélé was right choice. His performances this year was consistent and he help his team win Champions League for first time.
But Yamal at second place show us that young players are coming strong. Football future look very exciting!
The ceremony was beautiful and all players deserve recognition for their hard work.
