RE: Who r my followers? If u can't ever even comment go fuck yourself!

It's the same for me, steem has gotten really quiet over recent months and there is little interaction. That said I really don't feel sad about it: It feels like the calm before the storm. Keeping up the work as best I can because I have great faith that this place will bloom again and we'll be "5 years ahead in life" for having stuck with it through the uneventful times.

Some of the people I cherish dearly have stopped using steem, but I have this intuition that they will be back. Life demands our attention at times more than other times and so I'm really not mad at anyone for taking a break.

It is almost a more cozy place to me at this time. Commenting will find you rubbing cyber shoulders with accounts that are familiar yet have had no previous interaction with you to date.

Of course there are those too busy winning Steem Monster tournaments and building up their Drug War operations to be able to curate at this time. Don't take in personally, it's only business. 😎

To increase your exposure you may consider using Google Translate to tap into the influx of Chinese users who are being brought to us by the efforts of @wherein, one of my delegation recipients. (Though not sure how those cuss words will translate. 😉)

I know how to cuss in hokkien Chinese 😂, thx for the support @novacadian I do need to remove any personal feelings or expectations as I came here with only a sense of social media adventure.

Social being the operative word, its not required to be all rainbows and unicorns. The reality is time is money and this is a business.

You should have a bright future then! 😆

I totally understand what you are saying, there are ways to grow an audience, but you have to revert to tactics which are not ment for me, i try to keep it real. Personally i have not posted much in months because even if i put in hard work, heart and soul, the engament was as much (or less) when i just posted a picture.

The platform lacks some things that other social media does have, (like a decent interface which updates, real social interactment, easy ways to reach out of your bubble etc etc) and (just like in a ponzi) the ones who came first, have the best reach ... and when you are not with the ‘incrowd’ it is hard to get any reach. Or you have to pay, but just like with the facebook, twitter paying for likes shares etc ... it is killing the soul of the platform .... and because of that I believe that steem is slowly cannibalizing itself, and that is a pity, because there was (and still is) a lot of potential. Especially because on regular social media, people are in desperate need and ‘crying’ for change and less regulation

Good to know I'm not alone. I'm not rage quitting yet 😂.. Alarm bells have been ringing since I came on but I'm sticking around because I do see potential here and I'm exposed to a, side of the tech world I'd otherwise be oblivious to..

Cheers @elektropunkz
