It appears to be about the search for a lost son by an older/dying person, who has been searching long enough that the son could also have passed.
But since we're supposed to guess and you'd be surprised if we got it, it's probably not so straight forward.
Technically, due to one incorrect noun, that is not what the poem is about. But, yeah.. obviously in essence it is about a mother looking for their son.
If yesterday's was a clue, then a material, like wood, made in to toys and separated as they are delivered by santa to different houses.
