I just love doing yoga
Some thinks it's just a lot of smoga
There's downward facing dog and
I can pretend to be a tree
The cobra pose you have to see
I can imagine I am a chair
Don't you dare sit down
Or we'll both wear a frown
Yoga makes me flex those muscles you have never seen
It's said to be an antidote to ageing
I don't know whether it's something they're saying..
Let's do yoga
Let's get fit
Let your imagination flow with the pose
You can be a triangle, a mountain, a kitty cat on your knees
It sure is not for everyone
But once you started you won't care to stop
You learn to breathe, you learn to be calm
You meditate while sitting cross-legged and your eyes shut tight
Lie on your back and watch the clouds drift by while you centre your mind on things unknown #freewritepoetry
