@redheadpei I feel their pain of not being able to set their traps when you work with Mother Nature, she is always in control. Our season started May 1 for trout and we are yet to find bait to fish with.

Mother Nature hasn’t brought PEI much of a spring but nicer days coming and the fishermen will be happy. The lobster fishermen are getting impatient to get their traps set out. I think tomorrow will be okay.

My Dad used to catch trout in the brooks with earthworms. A really tasty fish. I don’t know if your trout is the same kind of fish as here.
@redheadpei, our trout are different, they are a saltwater fish and do not live where it gets cold.
