Thank you for sharing your inspirational story. Your children have imagination and creativity at such a young age that I can only dream of at my age now. They have a bright future ahead of them. Kudos to you.
I made sure that my 2 kids were not going to miss out on what I did and reading books to them before bed was a ritual also, and it was a special time for all of us. I had a large, thick book full of nursery rhymes and we called it, "The special night time book." I got tired of reading them so I made up my own tunes and sang them. When my daughter was only 2 years old, she could recite every single nursery rhyme in that book. She enjoyed reading which I was grateful for but now she has a successful career and can't find any time to read. I keep telling her that she needs to find a happy balance in her life and not to let work consume her whole life. And I was proud that my son followed in my footesteps, reading to his kids every single night. His oldest who is 8 years old is a book worm and I love it.
I was smiling when I read that you are reading @felt.buzz and @improv's stories. They sure are amazing writers. And I back you up on encouraging others to keep writing for you, me and to all. There is always something to learn here on this platform on any given day.
I truly an sorry that you have health problems and you will be in my prayers. I have a few myself which keep from reading and posting in intervals but I keep reminding myself that things could be much worse for me. We just need to take one day at a time.
This is beautiful:

My day is not full, but I see rainbows where I may see grey clouds when I get lost in the magic of steemit poetry and writing. Or humbled by being welcomed into lives shared by a stranger now friend in a county I will most likely never visit.

It was a pleasure to meet you @girlbeforemirror and thank you once again. : )

You both are amazing @whatisnew and @girlbeforemirror. Big love and hugs to you both and your families. You know, I am pretty pessimistic about the future of the human race. But if there are more mothers like you two out there I will be happy to admit I am wrong. :)
