I'm Howling but Everyone Took My Anguish for Art
Can this be truly called art?
Because not all art is born out of artistic intent. Sometimes, it's simply an involuntary byproduct of suffering.
Like a busy bee, she's been pouring them out
Telling stories in written form
Feelings and emotions, they come alive
Like they found their owner, something for everyone
The audience walks through her world
Feeling her stories
Laughing and shedding tears with her
The ones who mattered, never cared to hear
But now her stories are consumed as art
Raw talent, nurtured talent, polished talent
Or simply talented – she was none of those
She wished she could attribute them all to some kind of talent
Pretending that she's this wonder kid
How much longer can this go?

She takes a bow at every curtain fall
Grateful for their kindness, yet with a heavy heart
She wasn't the artist they'd thought her as
It was never for art's sake, but for sanity's keep
She was just an impostor, using her tears and blood
Turning them to art-like form, for the enthusiast
Raw talent, nurtured talent, polished talent
Or simply talented – she was none of those
She wished she could attribute them all to some kind of talent
Pretending that she's this wonder kid
When all the while she's just a tortured soul
The compliments and cheers
Misdirected and underserved
For her coping mechanism
Feels like a burden rather than an honor
Mistaken as art, when
She cried her heart out
Just seeking comfort and respite
Raw talent, nurtured talent, polished talent
Or simply talented – she was none of those
She wished she could attribute them all to some kind of talent
Pretending that she's this wonder kid
Self-deception works, sometimes...
But how much longer can this go?

Even if it hurts, art is a consequence of feeling. I don't think anyone who's rich and spends all day on the couch can create an ounce of art.
And besides, it's a true artist's imperative need to speak or create, not through exchanges or messages in newspapers or social media. It's because it's born, like something in the infinite that gives us pleasure or helps us redeem ourselves. We fill shelves, we leave traces, pain, love, heartbreak, it's all valid.
And perishable, even if we're gone, tomorrow a forgotten and absurd chant, they'll be able to remember you (remember us) writing and fighting with every breath.
P.S. I think @wakeupkitty finds it interesting, and she'll stop by to leave a note.
These people are probably too busy 'printing' money
I've talked a bit with friends about the topic. Generally, people who have the means aren't creative or aren't motivated. We have to use the disadvantages available to us to create. To externalize what eats away at us. Our art, then, is a reflection of what we've learned and what we know or interpret from the world around us. Stay creative; it's always a pleasure to read what you write.
I'm very grateful to be able to write as a therapy. My doctors encouraged that.

You have so much talent. May writing free you and allow you to overcome all your fears. Not all people or situations are bad. There are still so many wonderful people in the world. I have great friends on this platform, with whom I share daily, and the contributions and learnings are valuable. In fact, without the motivation of this kitty @wakeupkitty, I don't think I would be writing, much less starting to paint. You need motivation and friends to create. Keep creating; the world is what we choose to be a part of.

A lot, if not everything to recognise. If no where to place it's art. Like the not that funny clown, the one who fears no one will laugh. No one does. Till the momemt he leaves, nervously and breaks his neck because he doesn't pay attention.
