Few Friends, New Friends
In this world of self-interest, no one will look for you without need. You all probably know that. You will not find a person in this world who walks with you without self-interest or loves you without self-interest. There is a hidden meaning behind every thing. If that interest is achieved, then even after thousands of attempts, you will not be able to take 10 minutes from him. I am saying this from my personal experience.
If you need someone, they'll always call you. Talking to you, chatting, and moving around at different times. But after that, these things don't happen anymore. But that man's going to get you. Identifying these people is very important for our life. Otherwise, we'll be stuck in a rut.
One thing is for sure, it's all over. We need to come out of this. We don't really need many friends to run our lives. If there are only a few like-minded friends whom you can trust and feel that you will not be harmed by that friend. Then you can live your life in a better way.
I doubt it ever been different. In the old days the friendships were there out of need as well. Today we no longer need another and if that's the case we are more selfish. Not that being selfish is a bad thing. Too many always sacrifice everything to help somene out. In the end that is what eats you. All energy, time and money invested in someone taking you for granted.
I wish you a few friends, it's enough since you have to invest in them.
