Black & White

In mid of December, in a one of those cold winter nights. She went to ballet school for her last lesson. She wanted to give it all she got. Her fellow mates finished their practice and about to leave. But, she stayed longer. There is a voice in her head that says, tomorrow I am going to leave this town and probably this is the last lesson that I will do in here. Who knows, I might not get the chance to play or practice when I leave.

The young girl has a lot of dreams. But, also has a sense of art in what she does in her spare time. She was not like any other that were there. She was in her best moments of having fun, having the thought that she always has to perform her best at all times. It is a big commitment to give ones best at everything. It is probably turning every single enjoyment to a responsibility. But, that is what she knew. Those are her thoughts. Isn't everyone is made up of his thoughts and experience?

The clock was almost 12 midnight. The time where the school closes. Everyone was gone already, except for the staff. She just finished her last ballet dance and about to leave, a moment before she lost her balance on the stairs and fell. She hurt her ankle.

She went outside and stayed down on the pavement, holding her ankle and looking the grey bricks on the ground. It seems that this color has painted itself all over the scene. In her mind, she was seeing herself and everything around her as black and white. The weather was cold, and the wind blew fast. Maybe taking on of her most enjoyable hobbies with it.
