The Life Of
It was a small family. Three children living with their parents. They all share the love of their grand father. There is something different about the old ones. We may not be able to point it out. But, we can say that it is something to do with caring. Caring for others more than oneself. That unselfishness that makes everyone feel closer to them, accompanied with giving out gifts all the time.
They gathered around his bed. It was not the happiest gathering this time. They were speechless, and felt like they were empty handed and not able to provide more support to their old man. He was laying down on that white bed, surrounded by the empty blue walls of his hospital room. He still has things to say, he was telling a story to make them remember the days when they were younger listening to his stories. But, this time it was not about something in particular that happened.. It was about his life journey.
He has just finished talking about his school days. They were the days were he had the least amount of responsibility. At the same time, he could not think of the reason of doing what he was doing. It is more of influenced or guided by others around him. He explained it like, there was a connection between one's understanding and responsibility. Until, he had a choice between continuing his studies and working. There were he had been given a real choice.
Was it a blessing? - he said.
He followed it with, Maybe. But, it comes with a cost of taking accountability of the consequences of the decision.
It was about time that they had to leave. They had to interrupt him to ask, how he feels and, if he needed anything before they leave. As any of his stories, it was not just a story for those young ones. But, they were learning from him, more than just being entertained.
It is the truth that most of the families barely survive but they're not living happy. It is the reality that the old people used to enjoy a lot I remember that I listened stories from my grandmother I enjoyed a lot there were interesting stories of jungles the witches the stories of king and queen It was a golden period but nowadays there's no much sincerity there are some families That spend quality time with each other but I have seen that in the families everyone is busy in their own doings some using laptops mobiles but the bitter fact is living in the same room but not talking to each other is the biggest loss of current era!!!!
Change is inevitable. There is a lot of difference between what was then, and what is now. I think that you have touched on many aspects. Mobiles in particular have a big impact on communication.
