What’s it worth?
I could waste many words but I rather keep it short. Words are rarely read and if not understood. The translator can be blamed, culture, norms, values, stubbornness but strangely enough it's rarely the incompetence (scamming acts included).

I also posted where I have never been articles I can't remember and where I was for real I vanished. There must be some void or brick wall around what I did, worked towards and achieved. Coincidence or AI been fed with made up data?
Is Steemit worth it?
My time, energy, money, knowledge, experiences?
The answer is yes. I like what I do, to read, comment and I learned even at times I thought I would give up on learning and teaching.
Have I been fooled?
More than you can imagine and it did cost me a lot of euros + Steem. I learned and learn that a word has no value and what is expected from me, doesn't count for anyone else. Today I am someone's saviour and before the night fall the knife is stabbed in my back and turned a few times. I assume that's the reason of my death.
Did it change me
In a way it did, although in most cases I know how a person will act and when he lies. It's fascinating to see how greedy people are, how far they go if it comes to the lies told and truly believe they can fool everyone (even if I list what proofs they lie, scammers and abusive.)
Is Steemit like the real world? It depends on who you are, where you live, your perspectives.

I noticed that among those who benefited most during the past years: greed, manipulation, intolerance, discrimination, never ending excuses is the highest, also high amounts of Steem transfers and support can be noticed while most steps taken are calculated (CSI and curator rewards show interesting information.).
Motivating
I checked how many left since September 2024 (friends, writers, those rewarded by SC True Colours (I doubt @solperez and @marcybetancourt know any of them). The answer thus far is: 63 (I gave up checking). About 5 out of them comment once every few months.
The reasons are not a hardfork, war or death
• The percentage of those being Steemit tired is higher than those being (seriously) ill. About 20% of them had fun on Steemit but have a business to run or has to make an income.
• Those who left Steemit for being bullied, harashed, abused by scammers/farmers using their photos and personal info is also alarming, the more if the criminal receives all support from SRs and SCs.
• The amount of dropouts among the newcomers is extremely high. They are not motivated and find it normal to receive rewards for a minimum of effort put in a post and rarely comment.
An exception are those (they don't leave) receiving high upvotes from the day they start even if they only post once per week or month.
Newcomers are not motivated to connect if they are upvoted highly with their introduction post (too often is AI used). The same counts for SC, witness and other high rewards.
Was it worth the contests?
Not as I checked last time. Those who join thediarygame never learned how to improve their writing, those joining SEC never how to comment and engage, the learnwithsteem is for those who already know (or to learn how to let AI do the job).

For what it's worth, I had a good time, kind of addictive, made some long term friends and wrote most of the time what I wanted to spit out. Such a pity I turn out to be dead or did I move to a greener place?

Все, что вы написали, отзывается во мне. С момента раскола Стимит, все, кто остались здесь, в эйфории поддерживали новую команду, надеялись, что будет много изменений. Рассчитывали на миллиардера Джастина, что он займется платформой, сможет привести инвесторов, которые помогут подняться криптомонете Steem и достигнуть хотя бы 50% ее цены от 2017-2020 года, но это не случилось!
И не должно было случиться, потому что Сан не заинтересован в инвесторах, иначе приглашенные смогли бы поступить с ним так, как он поступил со своим другом Нэдом.
Я не верю, что Стимит возродиться. Наемная команда просто кураторы, кто выполняет работу, не планируя искать и поддерживать никаких новых авторов.
Еще в 2020 году команда говорила, что их задача поддерживать активных и лояльных авторов, которые в последствии стали кураторами.
А вот уж кураторы должны поддерживать всех остальных авторов и на сегодняшний день ситуация сложилась такая, что кураторы одни и те же, и авторы, которых они поддерживают одни и те же.
Это легко видеть по показателю CSI, чем он выше, значит тем разнообразнее авторов поддержано куратором.
Если в 2020 году Voting CSI SC01 был 50-60%, то сейчас 18%, это значит, что куратор поддерживает практически одних и тех же авторов.

Я не думаю, что была нанята команда. Я даже не верю, что Джастин Сан знает, что происходит. Он доверил платформу? Которые, скорее всего, не могут ничего передать и убеждены ? Если время, когда авторов вознаграждали, и существовало, то я его не пережил, хотя одно время меня окружали творческие писатели, и я хотел бы, чтобы так было и дальше. Это единственная живая и веселая вещь на этой платформе, помимо искусства. В конце концов, я не очень люблю игры.

Я так же думаю, что Джастин Сан что-либо знает о платформе и вряд ли занимается ее развитием.
Он назначил менеджера Джоанну, которая и была главным SC01 и SC02. Не зная авторов, она на самом деле читала посты авторов и курировала многих.
Спустя 1-2 года думаю, что она делегировала свою работу кому- то из доверенных лиц и вот они теперь и работают на должности SC01. Затем команда объявила конкурс на представителей стран, они стали кураторами, ну и дальше вы уже знаете реальную ситуацию сегодня!

Win не планирует участвовать в True Colours, так как он был создан мной и aneukpineung78, и мы оба очень заняты работой, а у меня есть много вещей, которые я хочу создать и закончить. In your observation, is it currently easy for newcomers who have no acquaintances to get started and feel at home on Steem?
Or do you think that there are other questions that are more worth asking regarding newcomers?
It is hard to say if those who aren't introduced feel at home. I know I did not but I also never started at the newcomers communuty. I spent most days reasing, commenting & asking till I found the kind of right place to be.
If I look at the start of 2024 I think back of many hostile moderators and communities with more demands than a sane people can handle. Within a few months I gave up trying to fit in.
It's good to see many of those moderators left or changed, although there's still a group mainly out on their gain. I wouldn't have liked to be a newcomer at that time, being forced, manipulated and fooled and told all you had to do is writing quality content to receive high rewards. On the other hand I left those communities and never returned and will never do so, no matter who the moderator is.
If there’s one thing I love most about you is that you say things a lot of people won’t dare to say without filtering words. You hit the nail hard. You have seen the good, the bad and the ugly, on Steemit and anyone can tell that you have the success of Steemit at heart.
For those who left, I believe they’ll come back at the right time and this time with a changed mindset. Remember, a lot of us left at some point and came back. I’ve had a lot of reasons to leave again but I still have to keep pushing because I can’t afford to go back to square one again

Everything in life has a good and bad side. It is good to be aware of that and if there are things you can not live with, ventilate and know there's always a place where you can write or person to talk to but this means you should act and create the conditions yourself.
Steemit is no paid job amd even if there's no need to stress, get depressed or get a burnout plus everyone has the right to take a break and vacation.

I can't stop laughing at the part that says those who write learnwithsteem already know or let AI do the work. The AI do the work part got me laughing but it's true anyway but a lot of them are being caught.
I find an interesting sense on your article. Yes steemit worth our time. Personally I have learn a lot from steemit and also benefited from it financially and otherwise. I have made new friends here in steemit even though I have not seen most of them in person. But the friendship we share is like that of close friends who have known each other for a long time.
Some new comers drop out of steemit because they feel not motivated and since most of them came into steemit with get rich quick scheme, they feel disappointed and stop writing.

Great I made you laugh but unfortunately it's true. The lessons are way too difficult if you know absolutely nothing. The result is that AI is asked what is meant and whatever AI spits out is seen as the truth.
I wouldn't say a lot has been caught. I read them daily and no way the fear for AI written text steemitblog mentioned and while we weren't supported with #miner-wewrite wasn't solved within 1 month.
I guess @aneukpineung78 and I were not good enough. 🤣

I understand that if you have a quick scheme you can be disappointed but you can also try to create awareness by whom those rewards are given. How the system works but it feels PoB is too much asked which is shocking.

They are not offended, they play the offended to get the support at their side. It's all part of the game (manipulative behaviour, playing the pityful and insulted one.) There's a name for it, it starts with narcis... (not the flower) and it's easier to blame others than react like an adult. Spreading doubts, fear with a big smile is a tactic..
No matter how we see it, the main problem is what is promised to those who are introduced, and there's no awareness if it comes how this platform works and why should there be if votes are delivered on a golden plate and there's no need to post anything valuable?

I'm not disappointed since I did by far not invest what you did, not time, not energy, no friend backstabbing or abusing. I feel better this way, doing what I can, when I like it. No expectations except for dropping some words and checking how some are doing. I don't like the stress, so I mainly stay on my island and post where I'm used to. It's makes my life way easier.
It's good to know the in and outside to be prepared and free of illusions and stress.

Me hiciste reflexionar sobre todo lo que representa Steemit, no solo como plataforma, sino como espacio de interacción humana, con sus luces brillantes y sus sombras más oscuras.
Lo que cuentas duele, porque se siente real. La traición, la indiferencia, el abuso del sistema, pero también el amor por escribir, por conectar, por enseñar. Quizás lo más triste es sentir que diste mucho y terminaste “desaparecido” entre algoritmos o egos inflados.
Aun así, valoro que sigas dejando huella. Para algunos, como yo, esas palabras no pasan desapercibidas.
