They are pretty darn cute!! Although I have Phil (guinea pig that some people think is a rat), I can appreciate a pet rat and they are loving creatures much like other pets. My sister and nephew have a couple for pets but I think my husband would draw the line if I ever brought a rat home..I barely got away with having Phil..lol!
They would not be at the top of my list as a pet that I would want to have. It is fun to go over and play with hers though.
