Fruits and Veggies Monday

My first entry into Fruit and Veggies Monday.

First I present some Organic vegetables.

From our local food co-op. I bought some veggies today to make salads.

The lettuce from the coop goes really fast.

It is such a blessing to live in farm country where there are so many local growers. All the local produce is organic.

In the future I will present more information on Community Crops as my husband is a member.

There are banners above the produce of some of the local farms. I photographed a few today. As you can see a lot of these farms use greenhouses in the winter.

There are some products shipped in such as these jalapenos from Mexico.

And these organic Ruby Red grapefruits from my home state of Texas. In case you have never tasted one of this variety they are sweet and tangy.

Here is a bonus for you and a a first for me.

It is called Malk, that's right pecan milk. I found it very tasty.

With all this you would never know the weather looks like this outside today with more snow on its way tomorrow.
