Please, do not abuse #introduceyourself tag/category.

Flagged for abusing the introduceyourself tag, as gtg pointed out.
Also the bitcoin tag as well. This post has nothing to do with bitcoin.

Is it possible to see who is flagging you? (I can take a wild guess but I dont want to)

steemservices and berniesanders but the most telling thing is the fact nobody cares and when I spam MYSELF with comments to drain them of steem power I am attacked in posts written by shitheads.

"when I spam MYSELF "

No. You spam the blockchain. Now you spam #introduceyourself and other tags/categories.
When I politely asked you to stop, you have flagged me.
Are you going to make up some sad story about being a victim in this case too?

Hint: proper way of dealing with this is to say, that you are sorry and remove unrelated tags from your post.

No. You spam the blockchain.

About how much space/bandwidth did his posts consume in blockchain resources?

Not much, but that's not the point.
His statement is simply not true.
Spam is spam. Spam is evil.
Instead of trying to defend your friend, try to convince him to stop spamming.

He is not my friend, I have never met him or talked to him before as far as I know. I do not even follow him on Steemit.

To me the issue of a user being bullied on the platform (such as being flagged for every post regardless of content) is much more serious of an issue than the resource usage of his protestations.

I am sorry, wrong assumption based on upvote for his spam post.

As @klye wrote already in his post SPAM is NOT a Viable Means of Communication.

Here is my point of view, as a person that from time to time read some posts in #introduceyourself tag/category, welcoming newcomers and encouraging them by some upvotes.
I found @matrixdweller's post that is clearly not an introduction. He used few irrelevant but most popular tags only to make his spam post more visible. (Not to mention main category which might be offending for other users of 'mentioned' site.)

So I asked him to stop abusing #introduceyourself tag.
He flagged me for that, yet he is complaining about "being maliciously flagged". Hm. Interesting way to show that.

I have browsed through titles of his posts from past week. I have not found attempts to address that issue in a civilized way. What I have found instead was tons of his spam comments.

No. From my point of view it is not a protest. It is just a spam.

PS
IMHO, issues with flags are only a matter of perception. Sometimes you don't deserve an upvote, sometimes you don't deserve a flag... or at least you think that way. One that upvoted/downvoted thinks differently.
They have every right for this.
Same as you.
It is a feature of this platform, not an issue.

It's clear that he hasn't responded in the right way to people's criticisms. However I would say that if someone is flagging your posts regardless of content, it is entirely legitimate to comment on your own posts to draw down their voting power. That is a legitimate form of protest, as is trying to bring attention to the situation.

The fact that someone can do something, or has a right to do so as part of the platform, doesn't mean what they're doing isn't problematic or isn't bullying. Any behaviour that makes Steemit a poor experience and drives away users shouldn't be seen as acceptable. Even if you don't like the OP, the mere fact that it is so easy for a large stakeholder to bully other users makes the site/network unappealing to newcomers.

steemit was forced to go open source because of dumbasses like you so i thank you @gtg

@neoxian, I keep getting flagged by @jparty but whatevs its not killing my rep or anything..
