How to buy and sell stock | Jesse Livermore
I was lazy to write because I was doing this a lot these days. Oh,,,
It's not that I don't read books, but there were many cases where my thoughts were not organized until I was writing for some reason. I think I have become more greedy.I recently read a book called " How to Buy and Sell Stocks" . I didn't like the name very much, and I wasn't attracted to things like Wall Street legends for some reason, but I wondered why it was fate that such a trigger occurred.
Wall Street legend "Jesse Livermore," the content. He is a person who overwhelmed the market during the period of the Great Depression, which was frequently mentioned due to the recent coronavirus in the 1910s and 20s.
There was a part that impressed me the most, but the first is that the principle he talked about still corresponds to the fundamental principle of trading. The second, more important part, is that he suffered three bankruptcies because he failed to adhere to that principle. Even though he enlightened the principles himself, he could not keep them.
After all, there is a big difference in doing what you know. Yes. The common equation of success in self-help books doesn't really make a big difference in content. Somehow they are all similar. However, the reality is that not all succeed. Of course, luck is important and environment is important, but in the end, it is much more often that you fail to adhere to the principles yourself to make excuses.
I've told children this story. To be in the top 10%, you just have to give up. 90% say they give up halfway. Many say that if you survive in the market, the market will take care of your profits. That's absolutely correct.
Recently, after reading this book, I have been trading with my own principles, and I was surprised to see that I did not follow the principles I thought were too easy. The principle is simple, but sticking to it shouldn't be done with training.
