That bandwidth is a pain. What I do sometimes is, if I notice I am getting low on badwidth I do a transfer of SBD using the promote button and it seems to give me a little extra Bandwidth afterwards.

I usually just change the $1.0 in the promote window to $0.001 and click promote. It basically cost nothing to do.
