It looks like whatever the threat is that's coming is soooooo big that the mages and templars will have to be on the same side to fight it.
Considering that Corypheus wasn't enough to make that happen, whatever it is will threaten all life.

It could be The Blight now that the Wardens are severely weakened, or maybe the Dread Wolf... whatever that really means.
If it's anything like Norse Mythology(the wolf Fenris), the thing connected to Solas is the thing that swallows the Sun and causes the end of the world.

The Queen of Wands at the end is really interesting. Theoretically, both groups are properly honored for what they bring to the table.

The Star showing up early in the reading might hint at the 'greater good' comes through a common enemy that threatens everyone and forces them to work together.
