RE: Goji Berry Plant and Garden Update

in #gardening9 years ago (edited)

How old are your goji plants? I have some 3-year old goji plants I started from seed but no fruit yet. I'm not sure if you know this but the fruits grow on new growth so the branches must be pruned back each year for the best yields. Keep it up, your garden looks great. What state do you live in?

They turned 2 years old in March. Yes I heard that they grow on new growth of that year thanks anyways though. I know that they did give flowers last year but no fruit. This is the first year they gave fruit. So far as I can tell only 2 of the six bunches of plants are giving fruit. Thanks, I live in California. Hopefully you get a yield by next year, some plants may take a little longer to mature.
