So good! One way to check they are ripe is to pat them like you would a bongo drum of the sound solid-flat they aren't ready yet. When they get a good resonating - kind of hollow sound then they are ready! We have only one vine growing and it hasn't set fruit yet. I might pull it and start again next month.
