Motiv 3

Im letzten Artikel dieser kleinen Serie betrachten wir die Blendeneinstellung und den damit verbundenen Tiefenschärfebereich. Im ersten Bild wird durch die kleine Blendenzahl von 4 nur ein kleiner Bereich um den Grasbüschel herum scharf abgebildet. Das Gras im Vorder- und Hintergrund ist unscharf.

In the last article of this small series we look at the aperture setting and the associated depth of field. In the first picture, the small f-number of 4 shows only a small area around the tuft of grass in focus. The grass in the foreground and background is out of focus.

Setzen wir die Blende nun auf 16 kommt wesentlich weniger Licht auf den Sensor und dasshalb muß länger belichtet werden. Im Gegenzug erhalten wir aber auch einen großen Bereich der scharf abgebildet wird. Jetzt sind die Grashalme im ganzen Bild scharf.

If we set the aperture to 16, there is much less light on the sensor and that means that exposure time is longer. In return, we also get a large area that is in focus. Now the blades of grass are sharp in the whole picture.

Durch Vorhalten des kleinen ND-Filters kann die Belichtung auf 1/3 Sekunde verlängert werden. An der Schärfe ändert sich dadurch nichts. Aber die Bewegung der Grashalme durch den Wind wird nun sichtbar und sie erscheinen teilweise verschwommen. Aber egal, hauptsache das Wasser bekommt nun seine gewünschte weiche Form.

The exposure can be extended to 1/3 second by holding the small ND filter in front of the camera. This does not change the sharpness. But the movement of the blades of grass due to the wind is now visible and they appear partially blurred. But no matter, the main thing is that the water now gets its desired soft shape.

Mit dem 10-fach Filter erhöht sich die Belichtung auf 15 Sekunden bei gleichzeitiger Änderung der Blende auf 6.3. Bei Blende 16 hätte ich den Filter 1 Minute und 40 Sekunden halten müssen, ohne die Kamera zu berühren. Leider habe ich für das Telezoom Objektiv noch keinen Adapter um das Filtersystem anzubringen. Di eBlende von 6.3 ist für dieses Bild ungeeignet, da jetzt wieder nur ein kleiner Teil scharf ist. Ich werde also notgedrungen einen Adapter besorgen müssen :)

With the 10x filter, the exposure increases to 15 seconds while changing the aperture to 6.3. At aperture 16, I should have held the filter for 1 minute and 40 seconds without touching the camera. Unfortunately I do not have an adapter for the telephoto lens to attach the filter system. The aperture of 6.3 is unsuitable for this picture, since only a small part is now in focus again. So I will have to get an adapter :)
