@sambillingham created the site and you can read about it here and here. Me and @didic are just the first adopters 😉 and you can be too! We don't moderate anything (though I do curate book related content at @steemitbooks)
Gosh, thats a tough one. I suppose historical fiction. I have surprised myself recently though by enjoying Michael Connelly's detective books. I do read some fantasy though, but it has to be good. Don't like the formula books. Don't like formula books no matter what genre. What about you?
I love fantasy but I'm always happy to find a good sci-fi, history, or historical fiction book.
If you like fantasy try Brandon Sanderson. Haven't read much historical fiction... The White Company and Sir Nigel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis is more sci-fi then historical fiction but still a lot of fun. Les Miserables and A Tale of Two Cities are both good reads.
I definitely will check Sanderson, and Connie Willis out. It's been years since I've read any Doyle. And of course, Les Mis and Two Cities are classics one must read. Blessings.
