Will Banks Close Accounts Associated with Cryptocurrency?

My recent bad experience with a bank has me thinking. Banks are seriously threatened by cryptocurrency. Given the staggering amount of new money every day going into cryptocurrency, the banks are taking notice. If the rate of new money exchanged into cryptocurrency continues, I think governments will get worried. The US government could mandate all US banks to stop business with anyone that is involved with cryptocurrency. The government has the power since most all US banks are federally insured. I feel that banks are more than willing to oblige since cryptocurrency is bad for banking businesses.
