Have you any overclocks? In theory if you are running at stock speeds then you should not get any BSODs with any type of BOINC project.
On my core i7-6700k Im pushed to 4.36Ghz and I have really nice air cooling, so it seems to work alright, very occasionally I get some BSODs but really its not frequent enough for me to bother trying to troubleshoot.

It is oc trying to figure out how to get it down as i bought it already oc, dounds like the prob though

If you bought it from a store recently then complain, it should not BSOD. If you bought it second-hand then you probably need to enter the BIOS and change the CPU multiplier, Im not an expert but if you google overclocking for your hardware, you should be able to reduce the speed a bit.

Gotcha, i dont like overclocking too much, i just figure if the guy i got it from had it working as such it was good to go
