BOINC can push your PC pretty hard. In general, if you get BSODs when running BOINC, it's recommended to run some CPU and memory tests, because your machine is probably generally unstable, but it shows only under heavy loads. Truly stable machines can run BOINC for months without any glitches-

      I recommend LinX v0.7.0

      For initial testing, choose at least half your RAM, all cores. If it's stable for at least 30 mins, run another test with just 256 MB RAM, all cores.
