RE: Sweep Picking | 3-String Exercise For Guitar
You got some skillz man. I use to play guitar as a kid but dropped it around high-school and never managed to pick it back up again.
Anyway, I don't have much to contribute here. Just saw you got a curie upvote and wanted to stop by and leave a comment and give you an upvote.
Nice work and keep teaching music. I wish I had stuck with it and I think music is the most underrated skill taught in schools today. Cheers!
Thank you Jocqua! :) You should pick up the guitar again - it's never too late. I've only just recently learned the sweeping technique and I'm 45 years old. :) Thank you again for your kind comments.
No problem man! And you're right, I just need to do it instead of talking about it hahaha I've burned through a lot of instruments but I need to just stick with one of them. I always had so much fun playing guitar.
Go for it, Jocqua! You sound like me with going from one thing to another. :D I think it is very satifying when you learn something and it comes off. even if it is a lot of practice at times. :)
Couldn't agree more! Nothing feels better than investing the time with eventual competency. We're definitely on the same page though, jumping from one thing to the other hahaha Guitar, Drums, Piano and Harmonica hahaha I love music but always find something else to distract myself.
I've always thought I had attention deficit disorder. Good on you with all those instruments! :)
Hahaha most pale in comparison to my shiny object syndrome lol
Really weird and not sure if you are joking there, but I have a thing with drawing shiny objects! Hahaha!!! :D
Hahahaha now that's just funny. But in all seriousness I think it's just a phrase I've heard. Someone who likes to jump from thing to thing. They see one shiny thing here and then over there and they keep going from it to the next thing and the next. That's basically me lol
