RE: Group Therapy

There is a big difference between .22 brands. I have 6 different in my case and the best is the varmint loads, but also the most expensive. I need to break out mine and get in some longer range work around here. I have 25, 50, and 75 yard targets/metal but I am really wanting to get my Dad's silhouettes to use.

Sort:

My rifle had been sighted in with CCI Blazer 40 gr. LRN. CCI Mini-Mag was also good, as was Winchester. American Eagle (Federal) was less impressive.

The Peter's I have proved to be a pretty solid load with no FF or FE unlike the federal which is pretty shoddy most of the time. The best is the CCI Stinger Varmint. I have a load of the Blazer as well which have been better than the Federal for sure.

Sounds like a springtime shoot could be fun!

I don't know whether the ammo or the mag was to blame, but I did have a couple hiccups with the American Eagle.
