Garret Morgan

Garrett Morgan was
born on March 4, 1877, in
Kentucky. Garrett left home
after sixth grade. He moved
to Cleveland, Ohio, in 1895.
Garrett worked in a sewing
machine company. He
learned to fix the machines.
