Recently, I read many posts comparing Gold and BTC(Bitcoin) charts.

In 2016, Gold recorded ATH(All Time High) first, and had the price correction and consolidation. Then, BTC rose.

BTC Dominance collapse occured in a Banana 🍌 zone that BTC price exponentially grows last.

Altseason 1.0 ended 18 months after the 2nd BTC halving date.

In case of Altseason 2.0,

In 2020, Gold recorded ATH, and had the price correction and consolidation like the Altseason 1.0, Then, BTC started rising.

BTC Dominance collapse occured while BTC price was surging explosively.

Something in common between the Altseason 1.0 and 2.0 is when Gold was consecutively recording ATH, altseasons occured.

Altseason 2.0 ended 18 months after the 3rd BTC halving date.

How about now? Many long-term spot altcoin investors who have survived so far have been waiting for the Altseason 3.0.

This moment is 18 months after the 4th BTC halving date. But, Altseason 3.0 that people have been waiting for has not happened yet.

By contrast, recently, Gold was consecutively recording ATH.

I thought BTC Dominance would collapse this moment. But, it wasn't. So, I check the Gold chart that I've ignored so far.

As I mentioned before, I realized that something in common is when Gold consecutively records ATHs, altseasons never occured, which means the Altseaon 3.0 might happen later than expected.

I expect if Gold has price corrections and consolidations in the near future, and BTC to the Moon, the Altseason 3.0 will appear for a while, around 2 months.

However, I'm also exhausted and skeptical of the possibility to occur the next Altseason 3.0.

While I waited for the Altseason 2.0 from Jan 2018 to Jan 2021, I've been waiting for the Altseason 3.0 since Dec 2021. It's around 4 years.

I don't blindly believe in that the Altseason 3.0 will occur this Q4. The belief is based of data analyses. So, if you think this cycle is done, just leave the market.

I believe in my position and wait for it.

Wow, @happycapital, this is a fascinating deep dive into the BTC dominance chart and its correlation with Gold's performance! The historical analysis, especially comparing the timelines after Bitcoin halvings and Gold's ATH, is incredibly insightful. I love how you've clearly laid out the potential implications for a future Altseason 3.0.

Your point about Altseasons not occurring while Gold is making consecutive ATHs is a crucial observation and provides a refreshing perspective amidst all the market noise.

The honest reflection on feeling weary and the possibility of this cycle being different is very relatable. Thank you for sharing your data-driven perspective and reminding us to stay grounded. This is a post that deserves more attention and discussion! What are your thoughts on potential catalysts that could trigger Gold's correction, leading to the anticipated BTC surge? Let's discuss!
