Yeah from a readers point of view it is that neverending part that makes me ask.
From a writing perspective I do the same thing myself.
Would you believe I have bits of story from decades ago that never were "finished"
I think we all do, from decades ago. I'll on occasion find an old spiral bound note book that has bits and pieces of stories/poems and various other scribblings. Some times fun to read, sometimes a night mare to read.
