It's not too harsh really, spam is considered a copy/paste comment that is sent to multiple articles and they are very rude. They are easy to spot from other comments, like a "follow for follow." Those are usually frowned upon.
Now that is what you call a "flex capacitor" with this device you can travel into the future. JK
I believe that is a the corner of a power pole. The round things are insulators to keep the electricity from finding ground through the wooden cross. The other part is adjustable to take tension off of the lines and allow for some slack.
