Ever wonder why Nung Udoe Ibesikpo will quickly become Akwa Ibom State's next biggest and most populous city? This is a result of people buying land, businesses moving in, and buildings being built. This city has 0.1% that I have not yet explored. Putting numerous company locations on the map is something I will make a habit of doing. My long-term absence from this town has hindered my ability to explore and get to know certain commercial locations. I asked a friend a few questions for my review, and he pointed me in the direction of a store where he purchased his electronics and electrical goods.

Today I will take you through, with stunning photographs, every part of this buzzing electrical shop in my vicinity. This is just one out of many. I haven't stepped foot here before, but I've driven past this place countless times. On stepping in, I was in awe of what I saw starting from the front view. The displays were awesome, but there is something I noticed: this shop has no signpost. Maybe it will be fixed later, but this doesn't affect the sales since it's a well-established business and people have trooped in massively. The items kept in the front, which is covered with a shade to prevent rain from beating on it, are standing fans, pipes for wall electrical constructions, extensions or sockets for plugging in home appliances, LED TVs, stereos, and wires for resolving sparks from wrong connections in homes.

Business Name: O.gomak Concept International Limited. Have a glimpse at this name for the second time; this electrical shop has another branch not too far from here. When I will be displaying some items, you will agree with me that its name is fitting to it.

Direction/Location: This electrical electronics or hardware store is located in a city in Akwa Ibom State known to have the biggest roundaboutin Africa. It is a town in the Ibesikpo Asutan local government area of Akwa Ibom State. It is located along the 2-lane major road that links to Uyo, the capital city. It is located on the right lane if you are moving from Uyo bus stop (plaza).

• Precise Direction: For those coming from the major bus stop in Plaza Uyo, Akwa Ibom, pick any bus in Aka Road going to Nung Udoe. The drivers and conductors are always there to echo the route they will be taking to guide each passenger. Take this route directly to the last bus stop in Ibesikpo LGA. A few kilometres before reaching the last U-turn before the roundabout, stop, or tell the driver you are stopping at Bebeto Pharmacy (one of the biggest pharmacies in this place). Looking straight in front of you, you will see O. Gomak Electrical Shop.

Price of items: In this shop the owner was able to give me a full price list, especially when it comes to lighting and TVs, which arehardware.

• Environment

The atmosphere of this place is very serene. From the picture above, it can be seen that this place is located along a major road, a 2-lane commercial road, and the whole environment is very populated, which gives the shop owner a higher chance of making sales. Though the building is a few metres interior, it has a shade that extends to the outside, making it very comfortable to display very delicate items outside. This shade prevents both rain and sun from beating any of these appliances. This is how serene and conducive it is.

Electrical shops are not like eateries, where most of the things bought are consumed there, so there is no provision for a place of relaxation and rest; you are expected to get your items and leave. Nevertheless, there is a place to sit for a salesboy, which is a stool, and in cases where rain stops the customers from going, this stool can be given to customers to sit on.

For security, there is a wide-open iron door, packaged with metal protectors from the inside, and also a contribution money is mostly paid to the village vigilantes to enable them to protect every shop in this vicinity.

My Experience

My experience here is awesome; in fact, I have learnt the real prices of items from reviews, and this has taught me that things are actually very expensive and there is a need for hard work. Finally, I bought an item, a build, for just N800. I love the Igbo tribe when it comes to business; they can never miss a kobo. What surprises me most is that the least price of an item here is N50, which is a screw nut for electronic appliances.
