I wanted to stop back by and recommend the book The Opening of the Way by Isha Schwaller De Lubicz and anything by her husband, they wrote some very revealing books on ancient egypt which I think is where the teachings of christianity originated, not to mention the book has quite a bit of knowledge on other religions in it. I'm reading it now and it seems to answer the above in a different way, but I think our bodies might mimic the teaching - "as above, so below" our bodies are the microcosm
