Man thats a scary situation, i don't believe in doctors either but if it were my child with a situation like that I would definitely consider doing the same.. in any case I am sending good vibes and hoping for the best for u and ur family.
Doesn't exactly feel scary, just harder to access the usual flow of positivity. Appreciate your good vibes and am looking forward to writing the post which confirms there is nothing to worry about ;)
