Steemit Weekly Health Challenge #3 | Simple guide on how to de-stress
Stress may cause illness to people who can't control their emotions which turns into a chronic stress. It may show a lot of symptoms physically and emotionally. Causes might be a family problem, work, relationship or even a single problem. But how to deal with it? What are some tips and solution to fight stress? Here are some of my tips on how to find outlet whenever I feel stress. I do experience stress and easily get reacted to something, but trying to fight to divert my feelings to make me feel better. Here's some list that helps me to release my negative energy.
Meditate
When stress strikes, I used to meditate alone in my room. Lying in bed, closing my eyes, and free my mind from any negative energy. I'm not a yoga expert, so I just lay down in my bed taking a deep breath, think deeply while listening to a zen music. It soothes my soul. Then taking a nap makes me feel better.

Doing my crafty art
Crafting is one my stress reliever. It really changes my mood and occupied my mind on what's my next idea for my craft. It's either my own version or from some tutorial that I used to watch. Papercraft and polymer clay are my main project. And I love exploring some arts and apply it, want to learn more and I enjoy doing these activities that increase my creativity and control my stress.
Movie
Watching movie or tv series is one way to get rid of my stress. I love Hollywood movies, it diverts my emotion. Usually, I used to watch sci-fi, horror or funny movies except for a drama one. Watching together with my husband in the cinema or at home while having a cup of tea with biscuits.
Travel
Travel is one of my option of de-stressing. It really feels good seeing a different nice spot and trying a new taste of the local foods. It's quite expensive to travel but you can find ways to save while enjoying your vacation. Then buying a simple ref magnet souvenir for my collections. Experience is more important and it will be treasured forever.
Talk to someone
And lastly, learn to accept the situations. Seek advice from your partner, friends or family. Sharing your problem can help you lessen your luggage. Laugh and you will realize how important life is. Just enjoy life no matter how bad it is. Stress is not every day, it will pass away so embrace life. Cry if you want, it releases your stress. And eat some of your favorite food. I prefer ice cream to cool me down.
There's a lot of things to be considered on how to de-stress yourself. If we used to it, we will discover how to fight it and find ways for our own good. A healthy mind is a healthy body. So stay healthy and enjoy life.
