One of my favorite things about outdoor climbing is that connection between the body and the mind.

Getting into that state of zen or flow, and just feeling all the moves come together almost effortlessly, or smoothly with great effort even, is one of the most satisfying things.

And you're right, on the flip side, it's really really hard sometimes to climb when you're in the right headspace -- which just places extra emphasis on being aware of your state of mind, and also putting healthy mindfullness practice into your exercise calendar as much as strength workouts.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this -- I would have to agree!
