in Healthy Steem16 days ago

Asslam-u-Alikum Steemit Family, I hope you all are fine and enjoying your life by the grace of Allah Almighty. Today I'm again going to take participate in contest that is well organized by @abdullahw2 so let's start

Getting sleep is not just a body requirement, it's seriously affects our overall our health and how we feel every day after enough sleep. In this post, I will share with you what number of hours of sleep I commonly get, my sleep routine, what disturbs my sleep the most, and the results of each bad and properly sleep on our bodily and intellectual health.

How many hours of sleep do you usually get each night, and do you think it’s enough?

Honestly, I mostly sleep around 7 to 8 hours daily per night. Not too bad, but I know it’s not perfect either and maximum for body requirement. For me, 7 to 8 hours could sense better. But yes, on few nights (particularly when I’m stressed or used phone too long), I become simply with just 5 hours, and I completely sense the distinction the subsequent day.,

Do I Follow Any Sleep Routine:

I try to keep a chill and simple routine before bed. Nothing fancy, just:

  • Put my phone down before 30 mins before sleep.

  • Read night prayer.

  • Sometimes drink herbal tea or warm water before bed.

  • Mostly when I feel not well, I do some deep breathing in open air and taking shower before bed.

Yes It does not work full every night, but it helps a lot for me for good sleep.

What Disturbs My Sleep the Most?

There are a few things that totally ruin my sleep:

  • Stress or overthinking (brain won’t shut up) or my pending workload.

  • Watching my phone way too late

  • Noise traffic, anyone turn on lights or random sounds outside really disturb my sleep.

  • Eating too late or drinking coffee or cold drinks after evening.

These things really make it hard to fall sleep for me or wake me up in the mid of the night.

Negative Impacts not enough sleep:

Sleeping not properly really sucks. Here’s what I have noticed:

  • I feel tired all day, like a zombie.

  • Can’t focus properly on my study and teaching, brain work slow.

  • Get moody, annoyed, or anxious easily.

  • My immune system feels weaker at mid of day.

Not enough sleep for Long-term, it’s realy bad for heart, weight, and even mental health condition.

Positive Effects of Getting Enough Sleep:

Now when I do sleep well (like 7–8 hrs per night), it’s a game changer:

  • I wake up early feeling fresh and ready to spend whole day.

  • I get more done and feel more focused on my workload.

  • Skin looks better, recovery is quicker.

  • I don’t get sick as often during working.

  • Cravings are easier to control.

It’s like giving my body and brain a reset button.

Final Thoughts:

Sleep is not something extra for body, it’s something essential. If you are working, studying, or just trying to spending life, getting good sleep can seriously boost everything. So start small, like cut some mobile time before bed, find a calm routine before sleep, and listen to your body what's demanding. It’ll thank you later.

This is end of my post, at the end I would love to invite my friends @drhira, @suboohi and @ashkhan to join this contest and share their valuable thoughts on your relationship with sleep. Thank you all for taking the time to read and engage with my post.

Best Regards,
