"Swimming And Health".

I hope you're all doing well. Today I am so happy to be part of the amazing contest "swimming and health" organized by @abdullahw2 in healthy steem community. I am a person that understands the importance of exercise so this one is appropriate and just wonderful to me! In this article I am going to address the impact that swimming has on each of our lifestyles in a positive way and share some of my personal beliefs, stories and anecdotes about this great exercise.
To me, swimming isn’t just one thing: It’s a sport, an exercise and a healthy activity all rolled into one. That’s precisely what makes it so special, as well as versatile.
Swimming is a sport, to start with. Swimmers focus and discipline train, they race, and they try to achieve their best until they are succeed less. It is very inspiring to see those muscles rippling as they power over the water.

Even if you’re not racing, swimming is an incredible workout. It works your whole body — arms, legs, core, and lungs. And it’s low-impact and easy on the joints, so it’s great for all ages.
Above all, I think there’s something different about swimming; the sheer wellness of it. It improves heart and lung health, can help control weight, reduces stress and refreshes the mind. Even just being in the water feels calming and therapeutic to me. So, for me, swimming combines the best of sport, exercise and health, and that’s why I love it.
From my perspective, there is no end to the health benefits that swimming can provide as one of the best physical activities one could engage in. For one thing, it’s a full-body workout. Each stroke works the arms, legs, and core muscles, and can contribute to strengthening the entire body and increasing flexibility. For me, one of the greatest benefits of swimming is that it is so easy on the joints. Because the body is buoyed by water, there is less stress on the knees, hips and back a particularly inviting prospect for older people and others who are injured.

Swimming also has a large part to play in improving cardio health: It’s very difficult to get the heart rate up without putting stress on the body, but because the water helps to support your body, you can work it quite hard without any stress. It’s a good way to get exercise and stay in shape, I think, too. I’m not good at swimming, but it’s so calming mentally for me. Both the serenity of underwater and the regular pulse of motion helps to relieve stress and anxiety. It’s mind clearing and mood lifting almost a form of moving meditation.
That is, I really do think swimming is the most fit and balanced exercise anyone could have in their life, in a nutshell.
Yeah, I have swum a lot of times, I enjoy it, really. I swim in pools together with my husband and my baby and that is even more special for me. I’m no professional swimmer, but it feels extremely relaxing and enjoyable when I’m in the water.

I don’t swim, not in a competitive sense, so I have a lot to learn and get better at, but it never stops me from having fun. I have been going to the pool at least twice a week, usually on weekends; I hit the water for at least 20 minutes for a good swim. I don’t just do it as an exercise I also use it as a way to clear out my brain, as well as to enjoy my time with my family. After each one, I feel lighter, happier, and more energetic.

From my own experience and knowledge there are key principles and a few swim lessons you should know when swimming. First things first: Don’t swim alone, especially if you’re not an expert — it’s just generally better to have another set of fins nearby. The body should be heated up for a while before entering the water to prevent cramps. I always attempt to keep my cool and not freak out when I’m in the water, as that can cause accidents. Learn to float properly it makes you feel confident and teaches you how to work with your body in the water. Breath is another big piece, so I focus on keeping an even rhythm of breath. And most importantly, pay attention to your body, and if you are tired, rest. More than anything, it is about being safe and in the moment.
Overall, swimming is a beautiful blend of sport, fitness, and health. It is not only good for health and wellness but also states the equilibrium of mind. I have always enjoyed swimming and it has always been a good way to keep fit and share a family fun day. Swimming is something everyone should try to incorporate in their lifestyle for a better and happier life.
